Chris Hanneken began building fences on the family's mid-west farming and
ranching operation in the seventies. A desire to build durable and economical
fence lines led his family to experiment and devise many of their own braces
and tools. These were then used to help others build their fences. The seeds
for what is now Southwest Fence Systems, Inc. were first sown when it became
apparent that these products were superior to anything else available.

gates, post arrangements, wire handling methods, anchors, wire stringing
devices and other tools. By always looking for better, and faster ways to
construct quality fencing, we have been able to develop products that
professional fence builders and landowners alike can use. Our overall
goal is to make it easier, quicker and less expensive for our clients to
construct all types of fencing"
